The zero-carbon methanol used by Geely this time is synthesized by using hydrogen in coke oven gas and carbon dioxide captured from industrial tail gas through technical iteration. Every ton of this zero-carbon methanol can absorb 1.375 tons of carbon dioxide and realize zero carbon emission in the cycle, which is a green energy source that conforms to the property of "carbon neutrality". Moreover, using zero-carbon methanol as the main torch fuel of the Asian Games has five advantages: high combustion efficiency and zero emission in the cycle; Not easy to explode, safe and convenient storage and transportation; Continuous burning, extreme weather does not go out; The flame is bright and stable; The fuel cost is low.
